@garcianator: It's ... @garcianator: It's amazing to hear to say this because I have been correcting Canadian posts on this issue for days. I can't understand why Canadians try to take credit for the actions of British soldiers... in fact, Canada wasn't even a sovereign nation in 1812... it never even declared independence (unlike the USA) and the last vestiges of British rule were removed in 1982? by an act of the British Parliament! Meanwhile, the USA has been running things since the 1700s!
God Bless? our ... God Bless? our Soldiers and our Freedom!
Were you dropped on ... Were you dropped on your head as a child??
@Scott- from my ... @Scott- from my recollection it was England who burnt down our white? house in 1812 after we beat their asses in 1776...what the f**k does Canada have to do with that? P.s. Canada sucks dick!

I am not "proud" to ... I am not "proud" to be Canadian, but I am extremely happy about it, I feel fortunate. I think we are easily amongst the top 5 countries on this planet. Please? watch George Carlin's video on the subject of "pride" to understand why I say "happy" but not "proud".
Long live Canada! U.S.A ... yeah, u guys are cool too, we like kicking your ass in hockey LOL. In all seriousness though, the U.S is awesome.
When a soldier is ... When a soldier is killed in? action and walks his last steps, he allows a whole nation to move forward, and take a whole step towards a better future, a better country, and a better world. Rest in Peace to our fallen troops. Vive le Canada, pour toujours!
I love Canada, and ... I love Canada, and our? Canadian brothers in the army! I would die defending Canada
@ViresVeneratio

Canadians dont have a bad rep, only in the states we do because some? Americans believe they are so superior to others, however many Americans are extremely kind and Im glad to have neighbors such as the ones to my south
both countries ... both countries bring its unique attributes to this world unfortunately people are so into hate mongering on others because they are uninformed about real world events. We are all of the same people regardless of skin or views we fight and die beside each? other. One mans life is no better than another. I pray that all military families in this war have their young boys, fathers and mothers brought home and in 1 piece. God bless those who fight so we dont have to.
Why do you think we ... Why do you think we gave Bieber to the US. We didn't want? him. LOL I am Canadian and proud to be but God Bless America to.
god bless those ... god bless those Canadian soldiers. CADPAT rules MARPAT sucks and I am a American.
Canadian troops are awesome particularly the fact that many Canadians volunteered to go to Vietnam and fight in the U.S. military.
Besides Canadians make America better? as in S.I. Hayekawa, Jamie Glasov, Jeff Kuhner.
Thanks for Mike Myers, Alex Trebek, Pamela Anderson, Avril L., Wayne Gretzky
But that Bieber boy needs to be shot.
Dude, shut the? ... Dude, shut the? hell up. Stop making the USA look bad. Not only would Canadians be p**sed at you, so would mature Americans. Grow up child.

Broun aims at gay marriage
U.S. Rep. Paul Broun will re-introduce a Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in the wake of recent votes and court decisions legalizing the practice in at least five states.
Forum: Widespread acceptance of gay marriage just a matter of time
There is no denying that the decision of the California Supreme Court to uphold Proposition 8 is a setback for gay families and anyone who supports marriage equality. But the reversal is temporary.
Is public opinion on gay marriage ahead of justices?
Courts almost never are at the vanguard of social change. In general, they have required sweeping cultural shifts such as school desegregation only when it was clear that a substantial percentage of Americans supported them. So what does this portend for same-sex marriage litigation, which is likely to end up before the Supreme Court eventually, especially in light of recent federal court rulings in Boston and San Francisco in favor of same-sex marriage?
